In this engaging, hands-on class, you will learn 50 essential signs that can help enhance communication between you and your baby. Whether you’re a first-time parent or looking to add to your sign language skills, this class is designed for all caregivers and their babies.

What to expect:

  • Learn American Sign Language (ASL) basics and signs to help your baby communicate.
  • Receive a photocopy of signs to practice at home.
  • Take home a copy of the “Lucy Knows Sign Language” book.
  • Participate in fun activities such as reading, singing, and playing to make learning enjoyable for you and your baby.
  • Get expert tips and suggestions to ensure your success in signing with your little one.
  • Foster early communication skills to help reduce frustration and build a bond.

  • Signs learned: mom, dad, grandmom, granddad, sister, brother, friend, family, son, daughter, baby and many more!

May – Animals

  • Signs learned: dog, cat, fish, horse, cow, chicken, giraffe, lion, monkey, duck, bird and many more!

Ashlea

Hi my name is Ashlea Weber and I have been teaching sign language to families in Barrie and surrounding areas for over 20 years.

I am a certified Master Signing Time Academy and Sign2me Instructor and have trained and mentored Sign Language instructors throughout Canada.  Ashlea continues to teach children of all ages the joys of sign language. 

Ashlea uses songs, games, books and puppets to make her classes fun and interactive for both caregivers and their little ones!
