Car Seat Installation Support

Whether you are a new or experienced parent, there is plenty to know about car seat safety! When you book a 1 hour session with our certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), you will get peace of mind knowing that your installation is secure and your child is safely restrained. In addition, you’ll learn all about your car seat’s features and functions and discuss a variety of safety topics and best practice recommendations that will provide you with a well-rounded education on proper car seat use.

  • read the car seat manual in full
  • attempt the installation to the best of your ability
  • ensure the interior of your vehicle is clean & free of excess clutter. 



Appointment Cost: 

  • $30 – one car seat/vehicle.

For infant seats, add $10 for an extra base in a second vehicle. 

Only one appointment booking is necessary.


  • $50 – two car seats in one vehicle or one car seat in two vehicles.

Requires two separate appointments OR booking the latest time slot available on any given day.

  • Repeat clients: $20 per car seat/vehicle.

 Payment is made by cash or e-transfer at the end of the appointment.

How to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, please use the cancel/reschedule tool in the confirmation email you received when you booked your appointment – this allows your time slot to be immediately available for another client to book.


About the CPST

Elaine became interested in child passenger safety after the birth of her daughter when she learned how much there was to know and wanted to share her knowledge with other parents and caregivers. She completed the training and certification course through the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada ( in 2014 and has since become a passionate advocate for the proper use and installation of child restraints for all ages and stages.
