Lactation Support

The first few days and weeks with a new baby can be a blur of diaper changes, feeding sessions, and sweet snuggles. While nursing our babies comes easily for some, for many others it can come with a wide range of challenges. Getting the skilled help from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) early on can make the world of difference in your nursing experience.

Some issues an IBCLC can help you with:

  • pain while nursing
  • cracked nipples
  • slow weight gain for baby
  • low milk supply
  • excessive gas or spit-up
  • signs of colic
  • blocked ducts
  • combination feeding (breast & bottle)
  • introducing solid foods
