PROGRAM REGISTRATION, CANCELLATION & COMMUNICATIONS

We look forward to having you join our Programs – a place of Community, Education & Support!   If you have any questions, we are always here for you!

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

All Programs require pre-registration so as not to exceed capacity and allow our instructors to plan resources accordingly.  We do not accept drop-ins for our classes.  Registration can be done online, in-store or by phone.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Childbirth Education classes

Cost of series includes both pregnant woman and 1 support person. Payment must be made in full at time of registration.

Once a Childbirth Education series has been started, no refund or credit will be given.  Refunds will only be provided if you give birth before  the end of your program or due to medical reasons.  Please communicate these needs to us either by email, phone or in person.  For missed classes, you will have the opportunity to attend the missed class in the next available series.  Serenity Birth Studio Inc. reserves the right to cancel classes with full reimbursement.

Paid Programs

Should you no longer be able to attend the program in which you registered for, please notify us immediately in writing, by phone or in person. Please note the following:
– Program Cancellation with more than 2 weeks notice, you will be provided a full refund.
– Program cancellation with more than 1 weeks notice, you will be provided a 50% refund.
– Program cancellation with less than 1 weeks notice, we will not be able to provide a refund unless we are able to fill your spot. This will be managed on a case by case basis.

Free Programs

We keep our class sizes small to maximize the discussion and interaction between our Instructor and attendees! With this in mind, please do let us know as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend so that we can open your spot(s) to someone else. You can do this by “Cancelling Appointment” from the confirmation email we sent out – it’s as easy as a click of a button for you!

 

PROGRAM COMMUNICATIONS:

We provide an email reminder as your program start date approaches.

We communicate all program details by email so watch your Inbox!  Phone calls will only be used if there is an immediate communication need.

Should we need to reschedule a program date due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, illness, etc), we will add on additional week(s) at the end of your program series.  For programs that are only 1 class, we will either reschedule the date or provide a full refund.  This will be communicated on a case by case basis.

MAKE-UP CLASSES:

Should you miss a class, we don’t offer reimbursement or makeup class dates.  You are welcome to send someone in your place!  Any handouts provided will be saved and given to you upon your return to class.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

I am aware that all written or verbal information provide by Serenity Birth Studio Inc. and its Instructor(s) is for information only.  I hereby release Serenity Birth Studio Inc. from all liability resulting from decisions made by me using the education/information provided.  Serenity Birth Studio Inc. is aware of, and subject to the government Privacy Policy regulations.  Personal belongings are not the responsibility of Serenity Birth Studio Inc.  Please make note that returned cheques are subject to a $50 NSF charge.
