Childbirth Education – The Wholebirth Effect

If you are searching for a Childbirth Education program that is thought provoking, engaging, and interactive, look no further! Our Childbirth Classes are a one-of-a-kind curriculum that focus on the core aspects of a whole body approach to birth. We discuss the mind/body connection for birth, comfort strategies, minimizing fear, as well as how to navigate a birth that feels right to YOU. We firmly believe that by understanding the biology of fear, the perception of pain, and what options are available, we can create better and more positive birth outcomes.

This class series will provide you with the knowledge necessary to actively participate in decision-making with your care providers, and birth partners will be provided with a variety of techniques for support during childbirth. We will also provide you with a wealth of information about labour, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and baby care so that you are able to leave your births confident in your ability to parent!

Plan to start your series anytime after your first trimester.

  • Monday evening series, 6:00-9:00pm (4 weeks)
  • Wednesday evening series, 6:00-9:00pm (4 weeks)
  • Weekend Intensive: Saturday & Sunday, 9:30-3:00pm each day
