Mindful Birth prenatal classes

* NEW *

We have launched our Live, online interactive class which covers all of the topics from our in-person classes but allows you to remain in the comfort of your own home. We are here to support your prenatal education in the midst of COVID-19.  We understand navigating the birth space right now is very daunting and we want to make sure you can make the right decisions for you to feel comfortable and confident despite these circumstances.

Learn how to create a safe space to give birth in this in-person, comprehensive small group class. This one-of-a-kind series will teach you how to navigate a birth experience that feels right to you, no matter how or where you give birth.

It uncovers fears associated with birth and brings a connection to the mind and body. We also discuss informed choice, evidence-based practices, comfort measures, and planning for the postpartum period in a patient/birther/partner centered modality.

Goals of the Program/Big Takeaways:

  1. Patient/Partner centered care that focuses on navigating ALL your options for a safe birth that feels right to you
  2. Becoming mindful and informed in order to make planning for birth and the postpartum more manageable

My husband and I took the Mindful Birth Prenatal Class a few weekends ago and we are so happy with the experience, all the great knowledge, information and tips we learned and feel so much more prepared for what’s ahead! The topics and delivery of info was very fitting and relevant. We were able to ask lots of questions and found the links and slides provided after to also be very helpful. We are so glad we went through Serenity for this prep class! Highly recommended! Thank you!!

My husband and I took the birth class and were so happy with it! It was quickly moved to a virtual platform, because of COVID. We were worried this would make the experience less valuable, but that could not have been further from the truth. We loved the class and felt so comfortable with the teacher (Toni – she is amazing!!) and our classmates. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I have already recommended it to my friends. Thanks Serenity! I now feel confident and empowered going into the birth of my baby girl.

My husband and I just finished our 4 week childbirth education -the whole birth effect at Serenity. The class was so informative and has made us feel so prepared for the birthing experience! It includes tonnes of information about child birth and emphasizes the importance of informed choices. It also focuses on postpartum care. I would highly recommend this class to any parents to be! And Toni was a fantastic teacher!!
