Mom & Baby Yoga in the Park
It’s gorgeous weather, and what better way to enjoy the outdoors than by joining our popular Mom & Baby yoga: Core & Back Health series in Sunnidale Park with Instructor Dawn Balfour!
No experience necessary.
This 1hr class is designed to help new Moms realign the spine after childbirth as well as strengthen abdominals to support the back and realign the pelvis. Chest openers will be practiced each week to help relieve tension in neck and shoulders from nursing, changing babies diapers and pushing strollers. This class focuses on empowering new Moms to foster strength in body, mind and spirit on their new journey into motherhood. To breathe in the joy and to breathe through the challenges. Each class is started with a stroller or carrier walk to soothe baby and warm up the limbs.
Enjoy this series with, or without baby if you are looking for a yoga class just for you! If you choose to bring your wee one, you can nurse, change and snuggle baby whenever you want throughout your time with us.

This class is recommended for Mom who is 6 weeks postpartum up to baby age where they are moving around a lot. For those that have had a C-section, recommended to wait 8-10 weeks to allow your body to heal.
After class, stay as long as your heart desires – it’s an opportunity for Moms and babes to socialize, feed and simply relax! We promote the interaction and conversations among Moms!
WHAT TO BRING:
– stroller or carrier
– yoga mat
– blanket for your baby/child
– wear loose, comfortable clothing
