Please check in with us if you are interested in booking Speech-Language Pathology with Mary Anne!
Speech-language pathologists provide assessment and treatment of a variety of speech and language difficulties, including understanding of language, oral expression, speech sound development, stuttering, social communication, voice, accent reduction, phonological awareness and literacy concerns.
Parents of young children may want to seek an assessment if they have questions or concerns about:
- promoting language development through infant interactions
- delayed language acquisition (“late talker”)
- speech sound errors
- limited social interaction or play skills
- school readiness and pre-literacy skills
Individualized therapy goals are developed based on each client’s area of need and sessions may be 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length.
Most extended health benefits packages include coverage for speech-language pathology services.
